Ernst & Young for a Graduate or Internship position

The students can just apply for online application in the Ernst & Young's website. As for internship, there will no specific date for application. The students can just apply the earliest as they want through out the year.

CIMA Future Leaders Programme

On last 10th May 2013, an event called CIMA Future Leaders Programme was done in collaboration of CIMA Malaysia and AFTAS. This event was held for selected Part 5 and Part 8 students. The objective of the event  is to expose the students to be a good future leader by having all the activities organized by CIMA. Not just that, the students are all impressed with software used by them to be a better businessman especially in management accounting.

Industrial Visit to Petronas

An industrial visit to Petronas Twin Tower will be held on this coming 22 May 2013. Only selected Part 5 students will be joining this event. For your information, the objectives of this industrial visit are to develop a relationship between the faculty and the industry as well as to expose the students with the working environment and gain new knowledge. The students will be more exposed to the real working lives and to give guidance to the students in their internship later.

Hope that we can organize more industrial visits in the future. InsyaAllah.

Opportunities

We provides an opportunity for all students with an interest in accounting to get involved through conferences, competitions, and networking opportunities with potential employers.

Events

We hold events geared towards helping our members on their path to obtaining an accounting designation, prepare for professional affairs, build solid friendships with peers, and most importantly make the most of their university experience.

We are always looking for new members to get involved and volunteers to help us with our events.

Our Logo

This logo is based on the concept 'coat of arms'. The colour scheme chosen is the highlighted version of Satin Sheen Gold which is to represent the prestige respected accounting profession. The arrows pointing upwards represent the tenacious efforts of fast track students to pursue success.

The seven daisies which is the flower that carry the symbolism of purity and the sincerity of fast track students to delve into the knowledge of accounting.The three books represents the endeavour to procure the vast knowledge of accounting.

The filigree pattern that decorates the outer shield is to add elegance to the logo thus increasing it's aesthetic value. The UiTM logo that is positioned on the top of the emblem signifies the fidelity of the students towards the university.

AFTAS is established to act as a representative of fast track accounting students of UiTM.  AFTAS intends to cultivate and imbue students with the culture of professionalism and prepare ourselves to enter the professional community while making sure you embark on a journey of delightful memories while learning at UiTM. With warm and friendly approach, the main goal is to cater to each and every member's welfare and needs.
